NCIS: Los Angeles' Kensi Blye is back in town, but her first case back won't go quite as planned.

Will Densi Survive? Daniela Ruah Previews What's Next For Deeks & Kensi

When al Qaeda comes looking for a former marine who embezzled money in Iraq, Callen (Chris O'Donnell) and Co. will be placed on the case during "Windfall." Kensi (Daniela Ruah), however, will be spending the case back in Ops.

While Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen) tries to make sure Kensi has an easy transition back to her regular life after her ordeal in Afghanistan (see video below), Hetty (Linda Hunt) will be more cautious when it comes to dropping her agent back into the everyday routine.

Kensi Enters The Field, Works On Deeks Relationship During 'Three Hearts'

"There are definitely issues [when Kensi returns]," said Renee Felice Smith (Nell), according to TV Line. "Hetty kind of encourages Kensi to stay close to home in ops, so she and Eric Beale get to spend some time together, which gives Nell and Deeks some time together in the field. It's nice to see the partnerships broken up, different people interacting."

Meanwhile, Kensi will be chomping at the bit to get back to the life she left behind.

"I think what she finds stability in is her job, and I think that's what she's going to hold onto to make herself not go crazy, or feel overly traumatized about what happened," Ruah explained to TV Guide.

Scroll through the photos above to see what the rest of the team will be dealing with while Kensi is trapped within the safe confines of Ops.
