With several reality shows already under their belts, Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott seem like veterans at opening the public eye to the most intimate aspects of their lives. However, a docu-series revolving around the effects of the McDermott cheating scandal and his subsequent stay in rehab for "sex addiction," is quite a first for the previously happy seeming couple. So, what does he have to say for himself?

Tori Spelling & Dean McDermott Are Just 'Spelling It Like It Is' For Money?

Late last year, when the tea first started to spill about the 47-year-old actor's cheating scandal with Emily Goodhand, Spelling reportedly denied the claims her publicist was feeding her, and regarded them as "crazy rumors." Fast forward a few months, and the 40-year-old actress is now allowing the reality television cameras into her humble abode once again. But this time, they're there to catch the pieces of her marriage as it reportedly crumbles on camera.

On April 22, the Lifetime TV channel will premiere True Tori, a reality drama that will "allow the audience to witness the most difficult and unpredictable period in her life... nobody knows how the drama will unfold-not Tori, not Dean-and only time will tell if Tori and Dean's marriage survives." With all the hubbub surrounding his wife's hurt feelings, what does the man pinned as responsible for the whole affair have to say?

Tori Spelling Discusses Husband's Cheating Scandal For 'True Tori' Publicity?

Firstly, according to People magazine Wednesday, the upcoming docu-series was wholly Spelling's idea. A source revealed that the concept of True Tori was motivated by her desire to "completely humiliate him and make him suffer in front of millions of people," in an attempt to find justice. In the six-episode series, which began filming merely a few days after McDermott left rehab, he is seen begging his wife to let him come home. Likewise, he is heard professing, "My life means nothing if you're not in it," to her. What's more, the source claims, "Dean will do anything Tori says right now," and that the docu-series is a means to help ensure that he will never cheat on her again.
