Season 2 of Lifetime's scandalous telenovela Devious Maids has only just begun, but the drama will already reach a boiling point by the show's second episode.

More Death And Marisol's New Boyfriend On 'Devious Maids?'

According to International Business Times, a synopsis for the April 27 episode reveals that Carmen (Roselyn Sanchez) will be threatened by someone from Alejandro's (Matt Cedeno) past, which could put an end to her lavish lifestyle. She is no longer a maid because she is the closeted pop star's beard girlfriend -- though the lavish lifestyle isn't quite as cracked up as it appeared.

According to TV Line, the fact that Carmen is only pretending to be Alejandro's lover will cause major tension between her and Odessa (Melinda Page Hamilton), who will refuse to wait on her and then quit, a move which could force Carmen to put on the gloves and work as a maid once again.

Naturally Carmen won't be the only maid who has problems in the season's second episode, as Zoila (Judy Reyes) will interfere with Valentina's (Edy Ganem) new job because she doesn't want her to suffer from the same fate as Flora (Paula Garces) and wind up dead.

However, executive producer Sabrina Wind has hinted that Valentina will have a much more pleasant relationship with Adrian Powell (Tom Erwin) than Flora ever did, and that her "innocence" will remain intact, meaning a steamy affair between the two is unlikely.

Rosie (Dania Ramirez) is not necessarily going to have an easy time of things despite putting off deportation for six months. Though she and Spence (Grant Show) will still have feelings for one another, Peri (Mariana Klaveno) will prove to be a major problem when she not only threatens her husband, but announces she is pregnant with his child. However, the pregnancy is false, and the drama is set to come to a boiling point in this situation during the new episode.

Devious Maids airs Sundays at 10 p.m. on Lifetime.
