Things are reportedly about to get extra intense on The Tomorrow People when John finds out about the betrayal over thinking that he had killed Roger, and a possibility of extinction.

John & Roger Share Heartbreaking Moment In SNEAK PEEK?

Jeffrey Pierce, who plays Roger on the series, gave some scoop on the remainder of the season in an interview with TV Fanatic published on Monday. Apparently, John is going to go through a difficult time after carrying guilt for so long, only to discover that he was betrayed by the people he trusted.

"John is very justified in his anger that these two men who were his father figures betrayed him for something that seemed like it might be for the greater good or it is for the greater good, but it's betrayal none the less," Pierce said. "And all of them are going to have to come to terms with that over the next three hours of TV."

The actor then dished on the mysterious machine and how his character should believe Jedikiah when he says that he should not get inside it.

"Not to give to much away, but essentially if Stephen were trained to use his skills to the level that maximize them, either he or Roger, their body in that machine spells the end for humankind," Pierce said.

The actor then sarcastically said, "No big deal. Just extinction is all," and laughed.

Pierce also said that there was a lot of pressure for him to be shirtless since he's older than his fellow cast members and has to spend a high amount of extra time at the gym.

The Tomorrow People airs on Mondays at 9 p.m. ET on The CW.
