An already intense situation with a stalker in Salem will reach a new high this week as secrets are exposed and plans fall through on Days of Our Lives.

Liam Drugs Daniel

Liam's (Mark Collier) obsession with Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) has led him to do some crazy things, including drugging Daniel (Shawn Christian) by slipping opiates into his orange juice. However, his plans will begin to unravel a bit this week, forcing him to step up and take even more drastic action in his efforts to break up the couple and keep Jennifer for himself.

The first snag in his plans will come when Daniel faces a disciplinary hearing at work because of the situation with the opiates. After they affected his ability to do his job, he was suspended pending an investigation. If he was found at fault, then he would lose his position completely. Not only did Liam drug the orange juice, but he left incriminating evidence in Daniel's apartment as well, in an effort to make him seem guilty in Jennifer's eyes as well. However, the plan could fall apart, as Daniel may not be found at fault for the drugs in his system, thereby reinstating him at the hospital.

Nicole Questions Liam About Daniel and Jennifer?

Adding to Liam's problem, Nicole (Arianne Zucker) has been trying to dig up some kind of dirt about him since he began blackmailing her. She desperately wants to make sure he can't harm Daniel and Jennifer, but as long as he has something to hold over her head she can't turn him in. Her investigation will strike gold however when she finds a woman who ties directly to Liam's past (Alicia Leigh Willis).

The situation with Liam isn't the only tense one in Salem, however. The issues surrounding Gabi's (Camila Banus) decision to leave will be heightened after Nick (Blake Berris) continues to manipulate and make other's lives more difficult, this time by convincing Gabi that Sami (Allison Sweeney) is trying to take away her daughter.

Days of Our Lives airs Monday-Friday at 1 p.m. on NBC.
