According to local Local Texas station KAIT8, Family members called the police June 14, after Michael Daniel 22, started to bark and growl, assaulting his family members and neighbor while high on synthetic marijuana 'K-2' or 'spice.'

Michel Daniel than proceeded to grabbed the family's dog, beat and strangled it and proceeded to eat the dog alive, according to witnesses.

Daniel was taken to local hospital and is currently facing felony charges for animal cruelty.
