As filming for Jurassic Park 4 is set to begin, Enstars rounded up the most recent updates about the plot and new twists in the iconic dino franchise.

New PHOTOS from First Day of Filming in Honolulu Revealed

Firstly, the film's current title Jurassic World might not be the final one. In a recent press release for a casting call the film had been titled Ebb Tide. While one cannot assume that that means the title has changed it could mean that the producers might be reconsidering the title.

The film, will be shot in both Hawaii and New Orleans. The filming location of Hawaii and the recently revealed concept art for the theme park int he film seemed to confirm the presence of underwater dinosaurs in the film.

Fresh Casting Call for Extras for Filming in New Orleans 

There have also been suggestions of a new breed of dinosaurs this time around and it is being rumored that the velociraptors would combat the danger posed by them.

The main cast for the film has been confirmed now. Vincent D'Onofrio will be playing the main antangonist in the film. Chris Pratt will be the leading man of the film. Bryce Dallas Howard and Ty Simpkins will also star. Jake Johnson, Omar Sy, Irfan Khan, and Judy Greer were the latest cast additions to the film. On March 26, the actor told Vulture that he would be playing a "tech guy" while Pratt and Howard would actually be the ones wrestling the dinosaurs.

The new film will be a sequel and not a reboot according to Trevorrow. The director suggested that the film, which is now titled Jurassic World, will be set 22 years in the future. The details came to light when a fan asked the filmmaker to confirm rumors about the film being a reboot.

T-Rex to Ravage San Diego Again in Jurassic Park 4? 

The Jurassic Park films are based on Michael Crichton's series of novels about pre-historic beasts being revived by revolutionary gene technology. Frank Marshall and Pat Crowley are co-producing the film alongside Steven Spielberg, who directed the first two installments in the franchise.

The film will hit theaters on June 12, 2015.
