The reviews for Jurassic World are finally in and while the movie has gotten some glowing reactions but in comparison to the original Jurassic Park it doesn't pass muster.

Will The T-Rex Fight The Indominus Rex In Jurassic World?

Of most reviews we gather that the movie is definitely worth a visit to the theater, but it does not completely ace it on the wow factor. But that being said, the movie is also being heralded as the best sequel to Jurassic Park yet. The FX work has also been lauded plenty.

Here's what the critics are saying:

Jurassic World To "Rebuild Our Love For The Franchise"

"It's not the cynical, cash-in cheesefest you feared. OK, Jurassic World is a little of that. But this state-of-the-art dino epic is also more than a blast of rumbling, roaring, "did you effing see that!" fun." -- Rolling Stone

"The effects of course are tremendous and I had a great time. It doesn't break new ground in this genre but it's just plain popcorn-chomping fun. And like last year's reboot of Godzilla, this one smartly makes the main attraction monster vs. monster - or in this case, dino vs. dino - action." -- Deadline

"...this is still a terrifically enjoyable and exciting summer spectacular: savvy, funny, ridiculous in just the right way, with some smart imaginative twists on the idea of how dinosaurs could be repositioned in a consumer marketplace where they are almost commonplace, and how the military might take a sinister interest in weaponising these scary beasts." -- Guardian

"...while the new Jurassic World pales next to the awe-inspiring spectacle of the original, it's easily the franchise's most thrilling sequel yet." -- Entertainment Weekly

"Jurassic World is certainly an enjoyable, adrenalised romp then, but for all the rowboat-sized jaws on show, it's a little lacking in bite." -- CNET

The film will hit theaters on June 12.
