Magic Mike XXL is about to hit theaters next summer, although it looks like one of its main characters may not make an appearance.

Ryan Gosling To Make An Appearance In Magic Mike Sequel?

On Monday, Hollywood News Daily reported that Alex Pettyfer, who played Adam (also known as "The Kid") in the first Magic Mike, has still not signed on for the sequel. But according to a recent statement from leading actor Channing Tatum, no one is signed on yet although it's likely that the main ensemble of male strippers will be back.

"I think everybody's gonna be back, I think, and obviously nobody's deals are done," the actor revealed.

Matt Bomer Will Be In Magic Mike Sequel?

While Pettyfer is being speculated to reprise his role, there was a recent story from Details published on E! News that Matt Bomer is interested in playing Ken once again.

"Those guys, we had such a criminally good time working together," Bomer said. ""We just hit it off. It was such an ensemble mentality, which didn't have to be the case under those circumstances.

"[Channing Tatum] is so great and gracious and [Matthew McConaughey] was such a great leader that everybody had a great time," the actor continued. "So if it were to come together under the right circumstances with a good script, which I'm sure [Reid Carolin] is putting together, it'll be really fun to do."

Bomer also mentioned that the most difficult part about filming the original was having to focus on his diet.

Magic Mike XXL is expected to hit theaters on July 3, 2015.
