Harrison Ford is set to reprise his role as Han Solo in Star Wars: Episode VII, but he may not be as enthusiastic about it as some may be hoping.

Episode VII Will Be Explored 'In Deeper Ways?'

On Wednesday, Entertainment Weekly reported that the actor may feel like his light-saber fighting hero may be already done with, and there's not much left to do with him. He also once compared his character to his other iconic character as Indiana Jones, saying that Han is not quite on the same level as the man with the fear of snakes.

"He's got a good heart, but I think he's certainly a much less interesting character than Indiana Jones," Ford revealed during a previous interview. "The breadth of his story utility was never extensive. He was the foil between the other more compelling elements of the film, between the sage old warrior and the young hero. There's not much breadth of character to explore what we got out of him."

Episode VII Cast Members Announced

This leaves curiosity if Ford still feels the same way about his character or if actually does feel like Han Solo might have more to bring in a new film.

Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher are also set to reprise their roles as Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia. Other returning cast members include Kenny Baker, Anthony Daniels and Peter Mayhew.

New cast members will be Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Max Von Sydow, Domhnall Gleeson, Andy Serkis, John Boyega and Oscar Isaac.

Star Wars: Episode VII is expected to hit theaters on December 18, 2015.
