It looks like the divorce rumors surrounding Faith Hill and Tim McGraw have finally died off -- just in time for the couple to expand their family.

Tim McGraw Gushes About Faith Hill's 'Genuine Soul'

The country singing duo reportedly wants to adopt a son within the next year, ShowBiz Spy reported recently.

"They'd love to have a boy to go along with their three daughters. It's something they've debated doing over the past few years, but they've finally agreed to it," an insider close to the family said.

They added that the empty nest syndrome might have something to do with it as their three daughters, Gracie, 17, Maggie, 17, and 12-year-old Audrey are getting older.

"It's bittersweet for them to see their daughters become teenagers and need Mommy and Daddy less. I think the idea of feeling young again by having a little one in the house appeals to them."

Hill herself was adopted when she was an infant and is said to want to do the same for another abby to pay it forward. At the same time her last pregnancy wasn't the easiest and Audrey was born two months premature and only weighed four pounds.

The same source said, "Faith and Tim are so happy that Audrey made it out of the woods and she's grown into a fine, healthy girl. But Faith wasn't about to push her luck with another pregnancy. Faith and Tim plan to start talking to people who are looking to put a child up for adoption. They really would love for this to happen by winter."

Hill and McGraw have been fighting off divorce rumors for more than a year now. They usually keep quiet about speculation but made it clear that all is well in their household in November 2013.

Hill said, "I wish people would stop buying that stuff. Happy is good. I don't know why Happy can't be a story."

They also dished on having more children recently. Check out what they had to say in the video below.
