As some pretty significant spoilers for Jurassic World were leaked on the internet, the movie's director, Colin Trevorrow, expressed his disappointment but also confirmed some of the details in an interview dated May 28.

In the interview with SlashFilm Trevorrow was dismally resigned to the perpetuation of the spoilers and said it was unfortunate that fans might not be as surprised by the plot twists he had in store for them. It has been revealed earlier that Chris Pratt's character would be a dinosaur trainer and a distinction between the "good guys," who were trained, and the "bad guys" amongst the dinosaurs was also made.

Trevorrow dismissed the "good" or "bad dinosaur" hypothesis.

"There's no such thing as good or bad dinosaurs. There are predators and prey. The T-Rex in Jurassic Park took human lives, and saved them," he said. "No one interpreted her as good or bad. This film is about our relationship with animals, how we react to the threat they pose to our dominance on earth as a species. We hunt them, we cage them in zoos, we admire them from afar and we try to assert control over them."

But he went on to reveal that the fact that Pratt would be dealing with the prehistoric creatures is kind of true.

"Chris Pratt's character is doing behavioral research on the raptors. They aren't trained, they can't do tricks," he said. "He's just trying to figure out the limits of the relationship between these highly intelligent creatures and human beings. If people don't think there's potential in those ideas, maybe they won't like this movie. But I ask them to give it a chance."

Jurassic Park 4 is being directed by Trevorrow and will star Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Jake Johnson, Omar Sy and Irrfan Khan.

The Jurassic Park films are based on Michael Crichton's series of novels about pre-historic beasts being revived by revolutionary gene technology. Frank Marshall and Pat Crowley are co-producing the film alongside Steven Spielberg, who directed the first two installments in the franchise.

The film will hit theaters on June 12, 2015.
