Apple's WWDC 2014 is upon us, and Mac addicts can get their technological fix by streaming the keynote presentation for free online.

Slated to kick off on Monday at 1 p.m. ET, Apple will be streaming the event live from San Francisco's Moscone Center.

Last year, Apple entered the Worldwide Developers Conference with plans for iOS 7 and OS X Mavericks, and this year should see the company refresh their mobile and desktop operating systems once more.

The Cupertino based company is expected to roll out previews of OS X 10.10 and iOS8, the later of which many iPhone and iPad users are cautiously awaiting following last year's controversial iOS 7 upgrades. Look for possible announcements of a mobile health-recording hub (Heathbook), improved Maps, and Siri updates for iOS devices and a major design overhaul for Apple's OS products, according to Mashable.

For those users looking to update their hardware, WWDC 2014 may not be too earth shattering.

"The feeling I'm getting from all the breathless rumors is that there won't be new hardware," said Roger Kay, and anaylast for Endpoint Technologies Associates, according to MarektWatch.

"So, it'll be all iOS 8 and how iOS and OS X are pulling closer together. Maybe there'll be some cool stuff like a better Siri, and perhaps a heath/fitness platform with demo apps."
