It's bad news for critics of CMT's Party Down South, as the popular program chronicling the drunken adventures of eight young adults continues to draw in record-breaking views.

Conflicts Arise & Cause Massive Drama In Season 2 of 'Party Down South?'

According to TV by the Numbers, the show's second season premiere saw a series high of 1.25 million viewers, a 75-percent increase over the series premiere. It also ranked as the fourth most social series of the day on Thursday, making it one of the most-tweeted about programs of the day.

The new season kicked off with the cast's adventures as they all headed to their new summer home in Athens, Ga., which would be the first time they were all reunited since leaving Murrells Inlet, S.C. After their initial good times traveling to the new house however, things automatically took a turn for the dramatic.

Daddy and Lil Bit Hook Up In Season 2?

After kicking back and having fun playing beer pong and learning about Ryan 'Daddy' Richards' newest drinking toy, called a Beer-Zooka, things got more intense after Taylor 'Lil Bit' Wright revealed that she had a boyfriend back home.

The news did not sit well with Richards, who has developed feelings for her, and he started engaging in more destructive behaviors and becoming uncharacteristically moody. At one point, after confiding in fellow housemate Tiffany Heinen, he even called Wright a b----.

The show, which also stars Mattie Breaux, Lauren White, Lyle Boudreaux, Josh Murray and Walt Windham, has been met with harsh criticisms, which has led the series to be chased out of other cities for filming. Season 2 was filmed in Athens after production was no longer allowed to film in Pensacola, Fla., and the proposed third season of the show has already met massive resistance which prevents it from being filmed in Ocean Springs, Miss.

Party Down South airs Thursdays at 10 p.m. on CMT.
