A special summer episode of A&E's hit reality show The Wahlburgers is set to air in just a few weeks, and it will likely set the show up for its Season 2 premiere this fall.

Donnie and Mark Both Not Returning For Season 2 Of Hit Reality Show?

According to TV By The Numbers, the episode will not only serve to introduce yet another member of the Wahlberg clan, but will possibly include some new elements of drama in the famous family's lives as they gear up for an all-new season of episodes.

The episode will take place in Boston as the family all returns to the area for the annual reunion. Donnie, Paul and Mark will all be back, as will their older brother Jim, who is in town along with Donnie's New Kids on The Block bandmates, as they all prepare to run the Boston Marathon together.

Jenny McCarthy and Donnie Wedding Planning Taking Focus In Season 2?

Uncle Archie will also be in town, but he will be making Paul's life hectic after Paul asks for the secret recipe for his uncle's famous meatballs. The attempts to get the recipe could jeopardize Paul's attempts to prepare food for the post-race reunion.

Complications will also arrive for Alma, as she tries to have a personal medal made for Jim, but runs into trouble getting it to him in time for the race.

The most interesting element, however, could involve some drama between Mark and his hometown entourage -- Johnny "Drama" Alves and Harry "Nacho" Luan, the inspirations behind the television show Entourage -- as he unintentionally misleads them with an offer. He will offer them an acting job, but it will be very different from what the two have in mind, possibly creating some drama between the lifelong friends.

The Wahlburgers summer special will air Sunday, June 29 at 10 p.m. on A&E.
