Cameron Mathison Will Not Replace Michael Muhney

The actress who plays Ashley, Eileen Davidson, signed on for many more episodes on the CBS show, according to SoapOperaDigest. Davidson, who first appeared on the soap opera in the '80s, is expected to appear in early September.

The network "has been reaching out for quite a while and wondering what I wanted, so the deal we made suits my life very well," the 55-year-old told the publication about her contract. "I'm really happy. I've put in a lot of years in this medium, which I don't take for granted, so I'm very grateful."
