He has been tight-lipped about the details for his upcoming nuptials to lady love Amal Alamuddin, but one member of formerly confirmed bachelor George Clooney's family has spilled about certain elements of the actor's wedding.

George Clooney Engaged To Amal Alamuddin

Clooney's aunt, Starla Clooney, confirmed to The Daily Mail June 19 that the 53-year-old The Monuments Men actor and director would wed his fiancée during a September ceremony in Italy -- and fellow actor Brad Pitt will be standing next to him at the altar.

"I did hear Cincinnati, since it's not that far from Kentucky -- that's one of the places they were considering -- but apparently Cincinnati didn't win, it's not going to be the place," Starla revealed. "I do know that Nick and Nina [Clooney's parents] are planning a trip over to Italy in the next week or so to, I guess, scope out some stuff."

The final location for the wedding likely won't be revealed to the press, but Kentucky and Italy have been speculated in the past, as Clooney's family is from the southern state, and he is known for frequenting the Lake Como area of Italy, where he owns a home.

His aunt also revealed that Pitt, his co-star in films including Burn After Reading and Ocean's Eleven, Twelve and Thirteen, would likely be the lucky A-lister who stands by Clooney's side as he says his vows.

"I would say he'd choose Brad Pitt for his best man," she said. "They are good friends, I would think that's who he'd choose."

Clooney shocked the world when he proposed to Alamuddin in April. The actor, who had relationships with several beautiful women over the years, including Elisabetta Canalis and Stacy Keibler, had previously revealed multiple times, even saying in January that he would never marry again after his marriage to Thalia Balsam broke up in 1993.

"I haven't had aspirations in that way, ever," he said at the time. "I was married in 1989. I wasn't very good at it. I was quoted as saying I'll never get married again pretty much right after I got divorced and then I've never talked about it since."
