Law and Order SVU has a lot of mega fans, but none may be as dedicated as Taylor Swift. Swift just revealed she named her newest cat after one of the drama's main characters.

Will Investigation Derail Olivia's Time With New Baby On Law and Order?

On Instagram, Swift posted a pic of her with her new bundle of joy captioned "Meet Olivia Benson." Benson is played on the show by Mariska Hargitay. In another pic of her new cat, Swift wrote, "Has anyone ever told you that you look like a baby polar bear?"

This isn't the first time that Swift has named a pet after a famous TV character. Swift's other cat Meredith is named after Meredith Grey on Grey's Anatomy. "She's really friendly and fun and she's perfect for the road because she doesn't ever get freaked out," Swift said at the time about her first cat. "So I'm really glad that she has a cool personality."

Does Mariska Hargitay Need A Break From Law and Order SVU?

Swift has been a longtime fan of Law and Order SVU. In 2011, Swift was asked if she could have dinner with any character who would it be, the Mean singer answered Benson!

"Detective Olivia Benson from Law & Order SVU," Swift told Teen Vogue, "I sit in my apartment and watch hours of that show. So I sort of feel like me and Olivia are BFFs."

In 2012, Swift also told Popdust that she binge watches the show when she has time. "Well, the Law & Order: SVU marathons are always on. That's where I find my solace. Olivia Benson is always there when we need her."
