One of the new actors for Star Wars: Episode VII unleashed some details on what it's like being a part of the film, and how he's going to be fitting in.

Episode VII Might Lose 'Its Original Zest'

On Saturday, SciFiNow reported the information from Andy Serkis, who gave a small hint on the type of character he'll be playing in the film.

"The Imaginarium is now involved in all of the performance capture on the Star Wars projects," the actor said. "And I'm playing a character in that."

While this detail was coy, it could lead to some theories on who or what he'll play.

Serkis then revealed how he didn't expect to be a part of the film, and what director J.J. Abrams saw in him when they first met.

"It's extraordinary. I grew up with Star Wars and was a massive fan of the original films," he said. "I never imagined in a million years that I'd be engaging with this. It's just come about so organically."

"J.J. Abrams and I met, and we just had this incredible kind of vibe between us," Serkis continued. "He said, 'You'd fit really well in this universe,' and I said, 'I think I probably could.' We're working very closely, as I say, in two ways: the Imaginarium is providing all of the performance characters, and I myself am playing a character in it."

This gives some more insight on the character Serkis is playing, which will likely have to do with this "Imaginarium."

Star Wars: Episode VII is expected to hit theaters on December 18, 2015.
