The Kardashian clan is allegedly livid over the insults Joan Rivers hurled at them in her controversial memoir, Diary of a Mad Diva.

Rivers revealed to Daily Beast the Kardashians (along with singer Adele and Twilight actress Kristen Stewart) are "very upset."

"The ones who aren't upset are the smart ones who laugh at it and know it's silly."

She went on to coyly diss the family's infamous momager, Kris Jenner.

"I think the mother [Kris] is the smartest woman in the world: She took the entire family, and now the next generation, and made them celebrities for doing nothing. I think that's brilliant. I want to sit at her feet and take notes. I begged [my daughter] Melissa to do a sex tape."

Rivers also opened up about rumors that Stewart is taking legal actions against Rivers after she called her out for sleeping with her Snow White & The Huntsman director.

"I don't think she's suing me. I think she stopped it. Her lawyer called my lawyer and wanted the book to be taken from bookstores or a public apology and my lawyer-I love him so much- said, 'Have you read the book, have you seen the disclaimer?'

It's a comedy book. I find it astonishing that people can read something and say, 'Will the Kardashians really name their second baby, 'cause the first one is called North West, South East?"

In her book, Rivers wrote on Barack Obama's inauguration, "If I want to see millions of smiling Black people, I'll set up a camera in the hallway outside Kim Kardashian's bedroom!"

She also dedicated the book to Kanye West, because he'll "never read it,"- referencing his recent claims that he doesn't like to read books.
