Her career may have taken a bit of a hard blow with the announcement that she would not be returning to The View after her contract ends in August, but Jenny McCarthy's love life appears to be going along beautifully.

In fact, the former Playboy Playmate of the Year admitted on the show July 7 that she and her New Kids on the Block fiancé Donnie Wahlberg are going to be getting married very soon-after first getting engaged in April.

Refusing to give specific details about a date or a venue, McCarthy confirmed the couple had chosen their date, and she needs to start getting ready.

"I will say that. It's soon, it's very soon so if you guys have dress ideas please send them," she said on the episode.

"Like tomorrow?" fellow ousted co-host Sherri Sheperd chimed in.

"No, but it's soon [enough] that I should be on a treadmill as we speak or at least getting a manicure," McCarthy joked as she held up her hands. "Can you see these I am just, like, not ready at all."

The couple's nuptials have been the subject of speculation as they've admitted they wouldn't do things on a grand scale-and even joked about tying the knot at an Applebee's restaurant in early June, when the restaurant chain tweeted them with a special invitation.

"Dear Jenny & Donnie, We understand the challenge of planning a wedding. The challenge of choosing the perfect View. The challenge of being the New Couple on the Block. We have a proposal. Will you accept our hand in your love story?," the chain wrote on an invitation before requesting that the couple check either a box that they would have their reception at the restaurant, or that they would at least consider it.

"I think we should certainly, at least, check box No. 2 @JennyMcCarthy!" Who doesn't love @Applebees?!?!? #LoveAtTheBees," Wahlberg tweeted to his fianceé after the invitation was extended.
