There is a new controversy brewing in the world of Dancing With the Stars as there are new rumors that another country is copying some of the dances used in the U.S. show.

Kandi Burruss or Other Real Housewives Could Be Competing In Dancing With the Stars Next Season

AfterBuzz TV reporter Kristyn Burtt posted an Instagram video Tuesday revealing the latest drama behind-the-scenes at Dancing With the Stars. In it, she claims that Bulgaria's version of Dancing With the Stars is copying the American version to a very detailed extent:

"BBC owns the rights, nothing the DWTS pros can do about it right now," she explained. "In fact, oftentimes the dancers [overseas] are told by producers 'copy this entire dance from wardrobe all the way down to camera blocking.' U.S. pros are upset and looking into it."

With BBC owning the Dancing With the Stars/Strictly Come Dancing franchise around the world, there is not much the U.S. pro dancers can do about it, as Burtt notes, though none of the pros have officially gone on record about the potential scandal.

The story was first brought to the public eye when Sasha Farber, who competed with celeb partner Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi, tweeted about it, via Wetpaint

"So weird watching my whole routine from @DancingABC copied in another country! lol, I'll take that as a compliment," he tweeted, regarding the Jazz routine he choreographed in Season 17.

Dancing With the Stars Season 19 is set to premiere in the fall on ABC, though the network has not yet announced a specific air date for the long-running reality show yet. It will be returning in its regular Mondays at 8 p.m. timeslot.
