Showtime released a new teaser trailer for the upcoming season of Homeland, set to debut this fall, and while it is only 20 seconds long, it is packed with new footage as the series moves its central location to the Middle East.

One of the more intriguing shots of the trailer features a shirtless Quinn (Rupert Friend) looking like he is choking Dar Adal (F. Murray Abraham), suggesting that they will be in conflict at some point in the season.

There is also footage of people protesting outside of the Embassy of the United States of America, with one sign stating "Stop Drone Attacks."

Additionally, many shots feature Carrie (Claire Danes) wearing a hijab, due to her being in Islamabad and Kabul throughout the season.

The trailer features many interlocking lines connecting with each other on a map of the world, which indicates that Homeland will become much more global than the more U.S.-based first three seasons.

Homeland is primarily filming in Cape Town, South Africa for its fourth season, a drastic setting change from the previous setting at Langley.

Homeland Season 4 is set to debut in the fall on Showtime, though the network has not yet announced a specific air date. Based on previous seasons, it could be returning in September again in its regular Sundays at 9 p.m. timeslot.
