The family already consists of 17 children, but the Brown family of TLC's Sister Wives could soon be expecting yet another bundle of joy.

Meri Leaving The Family Because She Doesn't Feel 'Important?'

Fans have been speculating since season 5 began on whether or not wife number four, Robyn, was in fact pregnant, and the season finale seemed ready to address the rumors-but both Kody and Robyn demurred from coming out with the truth, ending things with a cliffhanger.

However, despite neither one of them confirming if Robyn was pregnant on the show, Kody may have spilled the news anyway-hinting Robyn was pregnant with the couple's second son on Twitter.

Brown Family Proving Their 'Loyalty' To One Another?

"Super Sol! Thanks @LuvgvsUwngs A cute little boy! Only the 3rd shy child of 17....Should we have another? #SisterWives," he tweeted to his fourth wife during the July 20 episode.

If Robyn is indeed pregnant with the family's 18th total child, it could prove for an interesting set up in season 6-as infertility issues have often caused Kody's first (and only legal) wife, Meri, to struggle as she has watched her sister wives consistently produce heirs to the Brown name-and the youngest wife, who Meri introduced to Kody, having yet another child could bring these tensions to the surface once again.

The family has often appeared to struggle with their plural marriage, as each individual wife has felt the need at some point to struggle for their husband's favor and attention. This season, the wife that has appeared to be having the most troubles has been Meri, who even confirmed her uneasy feelings during the family's Spring Break road trip to visit another polygamist family.

After meeting the Richard family, Meri revealed that she could find herself understanding Nathanael Richard's first wife Rebecca, and her unresolved feelings over her husband's decision to add a second wife to the family.

"I'm happy on the good days and when Kody shows love and affection, but on a bad day, I question my importance to the family and if Kody still cares about me," she admitted during the penultimate episode.

Now, if Robyn is expecting again, it could bring up more problems within the family, as Meri has previously struggled with the fact that she can't have more kids-something that has seemed to keep her out of favor, as Kody has been focused on expanding the family's brood for some time, with Meri's hesitancy to use Robyn as a surrogate in season 3 becoming a big focus.

As of right now, the 17 children in the Brown family are: Logan (Janelle's son); Aspyn (Christine's daughter); Mariah (Meri's daughter); Madison (Janelle's daughter); Mykelti (Christine's daughter); Hunter (Janelle's son); Garrison (Janelle's son); Paedon (Christine's son); Dayton (Robyn's son with a previous husband);Gabriel (Janelle's son); Gwendlyn (Christine's daughter); Aurora (Robyn's daughter with a previous husband); Ysabel (Christine's daughter); Breanna (Robyn's daughter with a previous husband); Savannah (Janelle's daughter); Truely (Christine's daughter), and Solomon (Robyn's son with Kody).

The news about Robyn's potential pregnancy may be confirmed when the cast joins together once more for a special season 5 reunion episode on July 27.

Sister Wives airs Sundays at 9 p.m. on TLC.
