She has been incredibly focused on her revenge plot, but Sami (Allison Sweeney) will finally succumb to the hurt she needs to let out over E.J. (James Scott) and Abigail's (Kate Mansi) betrayal on Days of Our Lives.

Ben Breaks Up With Abigail For Sleeping With E.J.?

Sami had known for months that her fiancé was cheating on her with their baby-sitter, and after she found photographic evidence of the affair, she began plotting a massive revenge plot against the two. After successfully marrying E.J., she managed to get him thrown in jail for tax evasion and take over as CEO of his company, all while humiliating Abigail in front of her mother and causing doubt in her new relationship with Ben (Robert Scott Wilson). But, even though she has been getting her oh-so-sweet payback, the betrayal has still been hard on her-and finally, after a conversation with Caroline (Peggy McCay), she will officially break down and succumb to the emotional weight she has been keeping inside.

After Caroline asks her some tough questions, Sami will have no choice but to briefly abandon her revenge scheme so she can actually deal with the emotions she has kept at bay. Though revenge has always been her go-to when someone betrays her, and she loves to scheme, she still has been hurt badly by two people she loved and trusted-and needs to deal with how much it affected her.

E.J. Makes An Emotional Plea To Sami

E.J., despite being out of prison on bail, won't be out of hot water yet however. Not only is he dealing with Sami's hostility at home, he is feeling the effects of his secret affair getting out and being revealed to his fellow Salem residents-especially Abigail's mother, Jennifer (Melissa Reeves). After initially not wanting to believe her daughter would have an affair with the older, engaged man, she has accepted that it happened-but still believes E.J. is to blame, and as a result, she will confront him for seducing her daughter into his bed.

Days of Our Lives airs Monday-Friday at 1 p.m. on NBC.
