Chasing Life is about to keep up with its heavy drama as April does what she can to live a life that doesn't involve any of that.

Brenna's 'Identity Crisis' Chatter

On Tuesday, KSite TV posted a synopsis of the episode titled "What to Expect When You're Expecting Chemo," which is set to air on August 5. April will have a few days left before she has to check herself into the hospital to start her treatment for chemotherapy, and she'll be trying to live the most normal life she can in the meantime. But unfortunately, it looks like more problems will follow, involving Leo, Beth and Sarah. As all this takes place, April will likely come to terms in realizing that her life will never be normal.

There will also be a storyline involving Brenna trying to arrange her time with Kieran and Greer. She's supposed to be caught in a bisexual love triangle based on a story from After Ellen. Haley Ramm (Brenna) mentioned that she was excited when she heard this would be happening.

Viewers Will See 'Exactly Who Leo Is'

"When you have a character going into a role that's already a bit messed up or moody, there must be for some reason for that so I was trying to think of all the things they could be doing," Ramm said. "And they mentioned that someone's sister was a lesbian and I kind of thought, since I was based of of that character, 'Oh my god, could it go that way?' Because that would be so fun!"

Chasing Life airs on Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET on ABC Family.
