It looks as though there might be a clear reason as to why Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux haven't tied the knot just yet. Apparently, the couple fought over a prenup, as Aniston wanted to sign one while Theroux wasn't too keen on the idea.

According to a new report, sources close to the couple say the real reason why their engagement has dragged on for two years now is because the couple were fighting about the prenup.

"Haggling over assets and money put a real damper on Jen and Justin's wedding planning for months," an insider tells Life & Style magazine on Thursday in a new interview. "It really held things up."

Apparently, things have gotten so bad that the couple have canceled their wedding three times since getting engaged in August 2012.

Sources say Aniston is wanting to protect her fortune as she is worth an estimated $150 million while Theroux's net worth is only $20 million.

Meanwhile, there has been speculation that the couple might be getting married in Aniston's favorite vacation spot, Cabo, Mexico.

According to wedding planner Kevin Lee, the Hollywood couple wants to make their grand soiree a California-style event to remember with their closest friends and family, but are also having it as far away from home as possible, too.

"Jennifer and Justin are getting married right by the ocean, so it will be a 'beach meets California modern-chic sort of thing. She is going to have it out of the country," Lee stated, according to a July 24 Radar Online interview.
