The Originals will be entering its second season on The CW this fall, but already actress Phoebe Tonkin is hoping for a third, fourth, or even tenth season.

According to the actress in a recent interview with Joslyn Davis from Clevver News (featured below), baby Hope might have been sent away at the end of season one, but as the series progresses she will not be forgotten altogether.

"I definitely think now Hayley's goal is to create a safe enough environment in New Orleans to bring hope back…" explained Tonkin, referring to former werewolf and current hybrid Hayley. "But she doesn't want to bring her child back to a war zone".

It's likely that the witches, who tried to kill Hope in season one, will be first on Hayley's list, though they certainly will not be the only ones. With enemies at every turn and Hayley, Elijah (Daniel Gillies), and Klaus (Joseph Morgan) will enter the new season with a lot of decisions to make. Tonkin noted that the effect of sending Hope away in an attempt to keep her safe could have longstanding effects that stretch out into future seasons.

As for playing a hybrid, Tonkin is absolutely thrilled. "To be able to play the best of both worlds, the vampire and the werewolf," she said, "I'm really excited". The actress also let it slip that she'd been fitted for her "hybrid fangs", suggesting that Hayley might be out to spill a little blood in the coming episodes inside of standing pregnant on the sidelines as she reluctantly was forced to do during season one.

The Originals returns to The CW for its second season on Monday, October 6 at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
