The decision concerning Eric's (Greg Vaughan) fate will be revealed this week on Days of Our Lives, as he and former fiancée Nicole (Arianne Zucker) travel to Rome to potentially restore his position in the church.

Nicole Tells Eric Her Decision

Eric asked Nicole to go with him to the Vatican as he tries to become a priest once again, but he may be regretting his decision as he keeps questioning whether or not he actually wants her back. If he is allowed to rejoin the church, he can never be with her again, as a priest is required to remain celibate-but being with her means his lifelong passion will forever be taken from him.

The two were previously engaged and had gotten together after a scandal erupted that saw a videotape of Eric having sex with Kristen DiMera (Eileen Davidson) was released. Eric had been drugged that day, something Nicole found evidence of-and kept from him. After Eric realized his fiancée lied to him and kept the proof he needed to rejoin the church from him, he ended the relationship and began working to go back to the priesthood.

Jordan Comes Face-To-Face With Clyde

Meanwhile, back in Salem, Jordan (Chrishell Stause) will finally tell Rafe (Galen Gering) the truth about her past. She was keeping her secrets to protect herself and her brother, Ben (Robert Scott Wilson), but once their father, Clyde (James Read) arrived in town, she was forced to confront the past head-on-but hasn't had a chance to come clean with Rafe.

Now, she finally will, regardless of what it means for her relationship, and if it means Rafe feels obligated to put her in jail for the crimes she committed against her father all those years ago.

Days of Our Lives airs Monday-Friday at 1 p.m. on NBC.
