Fans were overjoyed when the original cast of TLC's Breaking Amish returned for a new season this past summer, and things could be looking good for the cast getting another potential deal to film for the network.

'Return to Amish' Cast 'Wouldn't Change' Their Decisions To Go English?

Though the recent Return to Amish didn't have the same record-breaking numbers as the original series, the spin-off pulled in respectable numbers throughout its eight-episode run, with 2.4 million total viewers tuning in for its June 1 premiere--and averaged about 1.82 million views each week after--meaning chances could be good that TLC will once again invite the cast back for a new segment.

The original cast, which consisted of Abe Schmucker, Rebecca Byler, Sabrina High, Jeremiah Raber and Kate Stoltz, has featured in three segments of the popular reality series, which chronicles the lives of Amish teens and young adults who choose to leave their families behind and experience an English lifestyle for the first time. After premiering the franchise in 2012, TLC premiered a new cast on Breaking Amish: L.A., before returning to their original group for both Breaking Amish: Brave New World and Return to Amish.

Jeremiah Seeking Protection From Illuminati?

Though they have seen great success with the original cast, TLC will be premiering a new group this fall, as five new young adults risk losing it all in order to experience English lifestyles, this time in Brooklyn, N.Y.

That cast, which was announced in June, includes: Miriam, a 26-year-old from Ohio who is currently being shunned for continued disobedience to her Amish community; Vonda, a 29-year-old from Indiana who is already committed to the Amish faith through her baptism and risks losing it all if she chooses to leave; Barbie, a 22-year-old from Kentucky who wants to experience English life even though her parents are pressuring her to settle down; Bates, a 21-year-old with dreams of becoming an actor; and Matthias, a 21-year-old who was adopted by his Amish parents but never officially joined the church.

Because the season was taped in New York, fans of Kate from the original crew could potentially be treated to an appearance by her on the new season, as she is now living in Manhattan and working on her blossoming career as a model.

Stoltz has not publicly spoken about potentially making a cameo on the new season, which is scheduled to premiere in October.

TLC has not confirmed if they will renew Return to Amish for a new season.
