The cast of TLC's Return to Amish has left fans with more questions than answers following their special reunion episode, which aimed to address some of the biggest controversies of the season.

After shocking fans in a previous episode with his decision to return to the Amish community and express his faith once again, Jeremiah Raber appeared to hint he had other reasons for attempting to rejoin the faith during the July 20 reunion episode-namely, his fears that the reported Illuminati would kill him for his comments about Kate's supposed connection to them.

During the reunion, Kate Stoltz addressed his comments earlier in the season that she would become a porn star quickly because she had begun doing shoots as a lingerie model-something that was attributed to his supposed jealousy that she was finding success in the English world. However, when Stoltz began speaking about the drama between the two, Raber appeared to become uncomfortable with the entire situation.

"He thinks that I'm selling my soul, and that there's somebody giving me a handout," she says in a clip for the episode. "That every single job that I get is because somebody handed it to me. He thinks that because I'm in the Illuminati..." she added before beginning to laugh about what she believes to be a ridiculous notion.

When the show's host asked for clarification about what exactly the Illuminati was supposed to be however, Raber refused to speak about it-and wouldn't give a reason why until Stoltz revealed he was afraid the allegedly powerful group would kill him for exposing them.

"You know what, I was actually getting death threats through email, and phone calls, saying I've got to stop posting about this s-t on Facebook," he said. "...I've been doing so much research on all of this."

Raber had initially claimed he wanted to return to the Amish faith because he was getting into too much trouble in the English world-but with these new revelations, he could instead be trying to keep hidden.

Though he is reportedly trying to return to the Amish community, he does continue to have a strong online presence, and has been updating his Twitter page often with comments about the show-though he has not tweeted about his conspiracy theories.

TLC will return with an all-new cast for a new season of Breaking Amish in October, set in Brooklyn--though it is unclear if they will bring Return to Amish back for a second season.
