Culture clash is a well-worn trope of television, both scripted and reality and Bravo's new show Jersey Belle is yet another show of that vintage

On Monday, Hollywood Life reported on just what one can expect from the new series.

In essence, Jamie Primak, who is referred to as a well-known publicist, is from New Jersey, but she moved down South to Birmingham, Alabama to be with her husband and now they have kids and such. Her PR Company has now moved into brand launching and event planning, and Primak is so pleased she refers to herself as being "great" at multitasking.

But this show isn't just about a great multitasker. Jamie is also still trying to adjust to being a Jersey gal down in the South, even though she apparently moved down there in 2006. It's almost as if though Jersey Belle has a degree of strained culture clash baked into it.

In the premiere episode, Jamie has to help her friend Arden with some issues surrounding her wedding, and then Arden's mother-in-law doesn't show up for a pre-wedding party. Also Jamie might be in LA for work and will miss the wedding. Will Jamie actually show up? This is of major concern for the folks behind Jersey Belle.

Presumably, this first episode of the show will give you a sense of what to expect going forward, which is to say, there will be crises and culture clash and some family stuff, and other reality tropes. However, those tropes are tropes for a reason because viewers tune in for them, and those interested can tune in to Bravo on Monday August 4 to see the first episode.
