Despite the final season of Fox's Glee being only 13 episodes, the show is adding even more characters to its already large cast.

Cory Monteith Likely To Be Given Tribute In Final Season of Glee

Fans worried that Glee would be abandoning McKinley High are in luck because they will be introduced to five new students at the beloved high school, according to a new report by TVLine. All five students are sophomores at the school and will be recurring throughout the season.

There will be a new gay character introduced named Spencer. He is described as a "football stud" with a good singing voice. According to the casting report, he is "post-Glee gay - no one messes with him about his sexuality because he will kick their asses if they do."

Next up is Roderick, who is described as chubby and shy with a voice similar to the great Otis Redding. He is reportedly the show's latest underdog.

The third character is Jane and she is unintentionally funny in that she doesn't have a sense of humor. She is an ambitious girl who is unconventionally pretty (perhaps like Rachel) and wanted to be a part of the Warblers but she was not able to and switched to the New Directions.

Finally there's twins Mason and Madison. They are male and female twin Cheerios who are appropriately very positive and "extremely weird." Per the report, Mason gives off a "gay vibe" though he is not gay.

It is not yet clear how many episodes these five characters will appear in.

Glee's final season is expected to air in early 2015 on Fox, considering the series was left off the network's Fall 2014 schedule.
