It appears that one of the most popular couples in the entertainment industry could be ending their marriage.

Mariah Carey Denies Retirement Rumors

On Wednesday, Media Takeout announced that a source close to Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon said that the two could be calling it quits. And apparently, they're supposed to announce it, themselves, later this week.

If this is true, there's no word right now on what may have caused this, but one thing that's been revealed is that Cannon did not have an affair.

Nick Cannon Cheating Rumors?

"Nick completely adored Mariah, he would NEVER cheat on her," the source said.

The site also said that the America's Got Talent host is now staying in a hotel and his grandparents are going to come to see him to help him out.

Cannon told Hollywood Life that he has no problem discussing his marriage details to the public although his wife is apparently not aware of this.

"She doesn't know! She actually tells me to keep my mouth shut, but people ask me questions and I answer," he said. "I'm brutally honest to a fault sometimes. It's all good stuff. If it was bad, I'd keep it to myself, but since it's amazing, I want to tell everybody and stand from the top of the mountains!"

Back in April, the reality competition host revealed one of his romantic gestures he had ever done for his wife.

"She was asleep before I left the house today, instead of getting her up I wrote her a nice card!" Cannon said. "That is kind of romantic, right?"
