Doctor Who's Peter Capaldi will channel at least a little of his Malcolm Tucker persona during season 8.

More 'Stand-Alone Adventures' Coming On 'Doctor Who', Less Grand Schemes

The newest Doctor, Capaldi will make his first full appearance as Twelve in Aug. 23's "Deep Breath." Unlike Ten (David Tennant) and Eleven (Matt Smith), Twelve will be a bit rougher around the edges.

Tucker, Capaldi's In the Thick of It character, was known for his foul language and crass behavior. Well it's safe to assume that Doctor Who won't start dropping profanity from here to Gallifrey, viewers should expect Twelve to be lacking when it comes to pleasantries.

"He has a tremendous ability with throwaway humor and a lot of it is around the fact that sometimes he is terribly rude," Moffat told SXF (via Screen Rant). "I think kids will think he is the rude Doctor [...] You might want to cuddle him but he really will resist."

Find out more about the Doctor's new attitude when Twelve and Clara (Jenna Louise Coleman) drop by Victorian London on Aug. 23. The premiere can be seen on the BBC and BBC America as well as in select cities.
