Simon Baker To Direct On 'The Mentalist', Which Season 7 Episode Will The Actor Take?

The former Franklin & Bash star is currently on the set of the CBS drama filming for the second episode of the season.

Titled "Graybar," the upcoming installment will feature Beauvaris alongside Agent Kimball Cho (Tim Kang). With guns drawn and bulletproof vests firmly in place, the duo spent late Friday investigating a suburban home.

Beauvaris' character's name is still unknown, but it looks like she will not be part of the FBI. While Cho and his coworkers have the Bureoue's name emblazoned on their vests, Beauvaris' remains unmarked.

Penned by Jordan Harper ("Grey Water," "Black Helicopters"), "Graybar" will air after the "Nothing But Blue Skies" and before the already filmed "Orange Blossom Ice Cream."

When The Mentalist brings Patrick Jane (Simon Baker) and Teresa Lisbon (Robin Tunney) back for a 13-episode seventh season, the partners will head back to work as a new couple. Following the events of "Blue Bird," Jisbon's future looks bright.
