CMT's Party Down South has been the subject of tons of scrutiny since originally premiering this past winter, but the antics of its cast have made it so popular that the show is already preparing for its third season.

Lil' Bit Won't Be Missed?

The news however, isn't necessarily going to be celebrated by everyone-as critics of the show continue to speak out against it.

In a humorous article August 12 on Al.com, writer Lawrence Specker made fun of encounters he allegedly had with people after going on a five hour binge watching the show-including comments from his wife, a co-worker, and a bartender, who all seemed to have negative reactions to the show.

Mattie's DUI Charges No Longer A Problem?

"You watched five episodes of Party Down South? Back to back? You're lucky you have any brain cells left," was one of the things his wife told him, before similar sentiments were expressed during his other interactions.

However, despite the reactions people seem to continue having to the show, the popularity of the program has been unbeatable-and the cast is preparing for a third season.

In fact, Ryan 'Daddy' Richards' has even posted on Facebook about the program, and how much he would miss everyone after they filmed the reunion show earlier in August.

"Just left the house gonna miss the h-l out of everyone!! Season three here we come!!!!! # GAME TIME #HEAD STRONG #PartyDownSouth! !!" he wrote August 6.

However, despite the show's increased popularity, season three will be extremely different, as one of the members of the cast reportedly chose to quit the series, citing safety concerns.

Taylor 'Lil' Bit' Wright, who had a huge storyline in season two thanks to a series oh hookups with Daddy prior to the second season filming, announced plans to quit last week.

Party Down South airs Thursdays at 10 p.m. on CMT.
