She's fought endless speculation of pregnancy since marrying Ryan Sweeting after only six months, and after some news about her character during the next season of The Big Bang Theory, Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting may be forced to fend off rumors yet again.

Kaley Cuoco & Ryan Sweeting 'Can't Wait' To Be Parents?

According to producer Steve Molaro at Comic-Con, Cuoco's character Penny, who became engaged to Johnny Galecki's character Leonard in the season 7 finale, hinted that the two would experience some big changes during the new season as they moved toward a wedding, but didn't guarantee that a baby would be in the characters future.

"Penny's first goal is to put the date far enough in the future so everyone knows for a fact that she's not pregnant," Molaro said. "A wedding is sometime off in the future. They're not in a rush."

However, if the actress were to become pregnant off-screen, there could potentially need to be a change in the show's plans for the eighth season.

In an interview with Women's Health however, Cuoco also talked about the future of her character-hinting that they would be taking things to a new level, but didn't specify what it would be.

"I'm hoping next season will involve a lot of wedding stuff, I think that would be really fun," she said. "If I had to guess, Leonard is probably more of the planner than Penny, which would be very funny...Everyone's growing up a little bit."

In that same interview though, Cuoco did talk about her husband, and admitted that the two were looking forward to being parents in the future-but she didn't specify when that would happen for them.

"I can't wait, he can't wait," she said. "I feel like I'm meant to be a mom."
