Mariah Carey announced that she will hit the road to promote her latest release, Me. I am Mariah... The Elusive Chanteuse, but it seems she may only be touring in Asia.

The singer, 44, announced the news on her website on Sunday and revealed that the tour will kick off on Oct. 4 in Tokyo. The mother of two will then make stops in China, Malaysia, Singapore and the Philippines. See the full list of dates here.

Carey's set list will include her "biggest hits" and "fan-favorite album cuts." She also promises to sing "never-before-performed selections" from the new album and there may also be some never-before-heard songs.

"I want to experience the spontaneity and emotion that I put into this album on stage with my fans," Carey wrote on the website. "I can't stop writing songs so don't be surprised if you hear a brand new song that I just wrote the night before the show in your city!"

The upcoming tour - The Elusive Chanteuse Show - will be Carey's first one since The Adventures of Mimi tour in 2006.

As of now, the list of tour dates does not include any shows outside of Asia like the U.S., Europe or Australia. Fans quickly took to Twitter to let Carey know that they want to see her in their city.
