While Benzino and his fiancé Althea Heart continue to put the finishing touches on their upcoming wedding, the VH1 Love & Hip Hop Atlanta star continues to fight off critics who claim she is a gold digger.

He live tweeted during Monday's episode of the popular show and clapped back at a follower who threw shade at his future wife and accused her of previously working at a strip club.

Benzino fired back and wrote, "Wrong, My girl owns several properties been signed b4"

Meanwhile, Heart decided to ignore the Twitter critics and focused on their wedding planning, which aired on the show Monday. She posted a screenshot on Instagram of a moment on Love & Hip Hop Atlanta where she dons a blank face.

The Ghetto Love singer included the caption, "There's so much to do for this wedding #thithi#thiandz#lhhatl"

Even though the couple gets lots of backlash for their relationship, some fans seem to have a change of heart and encouraged Heart not to listen to the haters, like her fellow cast member Joseline Hernandez.

One commented on the picture with, "Don't let the prostitute and stripper get to you. She jealous that you didn't have to do all that to get where you are. You and @iambenzino are going to have a beautiful wedding, he seemed down waiting a month so do it and make it a day you will always remember! F*** the haters and do you"

Another added, "Girl slow down, he isnt going nowhere trust me lol...plan so that all goes well"

Benzino recently opened up about his upcoming ceremony with VH1 and revealed that Heart also gave him his own engagement ring.

"You know, cause it seems like guys give the big diamond, and what does he get? Of course he gets the girl, and that's the best gift of all, but you know, we like to wear jewelry too. So she popped up and gave me an engagement ring. I don't know, it makes me feel more mature [laughs]. It really does, I'm really proud about getting married."

He said the two will be saying their "I dos" this summer.
