Mean Girls co-stars Lindsay Lohan and Tina Fey reunited on Aug. 19, and posted the evidence social media.

Fans of the 2004 box office smash rejoiced everywhere, as the creator and lead actress of Mean Girls took to Instagram to show their brief meeting. Lindsay Lohan, who played Cady Heron ten years ago, revealed to fans that she ran into her 'old friend.'

She posted the following picture, with the caption, "Lovely running into an inspiring, funny, beautiful old friend!!!! #tinafey."

Lohan, who has struggled with sobriety lately, seems to be healthier and more focused these days. According to RadarOnline, she took a few days to spend time with friends in New York City, to "clear her head" before she returns to London to perform in London Playhouse Theatre’s "Speed The Plow."

Fey, who's been working harder than ever, looks happy despite the latest news regarding a pilot she was pitching to Fox. Time reports that Fey's new show, with production partner Robert Carlock of "30 Rock", was passed on by the major network. "Cabot College", the pilot's title, was slated to show what happens when an all-girl school begins to accept male students-- and from Fey's past works, would've been pretty epic.  Hopefully another major network will put in its' bid.

While the news may have put a damper on this show, she always has another one in her pocket.  Fans of the writer and creator can catch her new NBC show "The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt" sometime at the end of this year.

Glad to see these two are still friendly. Tina Fey is surely the type of person Lindsay Lohan needs to stay inspired and on track!

Plus, fans are dying to see the musical adaptation of "Mean Girls!" Here's the latest.
