Rookie Blue fans were left hanging on the edge of their seats as the fifth season ended with a huge cliffhanger that could be the beginning of the end for Sam and Andy.

'Rookie Blue' Fans React To Marlo's Return On Facebook

Marlo's return might not have been a threat to the couple as they had finally reached the next phase in their relationship. However, the last scene of the season finale added a twist and now has viewers wondering what will happen to the beloved couple.

Marlo came back to help 15 Division with an investigation, but it was the ultra sound on her desk that has gotten lots of attention. Considering she and Sam were an item at one time, it only makes sense for the conclusion to be that she is pregnant with Sam's child.

When it comes to Andy's former love interest, Nick has also moved on with quite the mystery woman. The two shared a kiss but when he let her known he's a police officer, she took off.

As for Gail and Holly, they had a monkey wrench thrown into their relationship as well. The two didn't really get much camera time together this season, leaving viewers to wonder if they would ever reconcile their relationship. While they were able to get back on good terms with each other, Holly has taken on a new position all the way in San Francisco. She did invite Gail to move with her, but Gail decided to focus on adopting Sophie instead. It will be interesting to see if they decide to have a long distance relationship, or if one caves so they can stay in the same city.

Unfortunately fans will have to wait until season six to see how it all comes together. It's slated to premiere in the summer of 2015. Keep up with Enstars for spoilers and cast updates.
