A&E's Longmire is not always a merciful show. There is violence. Deceit. More violence. Murder. With such a charged atmosphere, there isn't room for much to get in the way.

'Longmire' Novelist Compares The TV Series To His Books

"Anyone else deal with chronic pain?" tweeted Longmire star Katee Sackhoff (Victoria) on Thursday.

"It really sucks the drive right out of ya doesn't it?" she added, "Blessed to be alive & healthy but OW! #Feet".

Such "chronic pain" could get in the way of more physically demanding roles, particularly for an actress known for taking on substantially bold roles.

'Longmire' Stars Keep Busy As Series Awaits Renewal

Longmire's third season finished up earlier this month and while the network has not decided yet whether or not to renew the series, a fourth season could spell trouble for Sackhoff in terms of what she will be able to do on a physical level. Could this influence the plot or allow further use of a stunt double?

Sackhoff received incredible support from fans after posting the comment, many of whom opened up about the pain they too live with as a result of different conditions.

The odds of Longmire forcing the actress back on her feet are pretty good. The program is A&E's top rated scripted series and the fan base for the show has proven to be steady and supportive. Ratings for Seasons 2 and 3 didn't match those of Season 1, but they were still strong to be worth consideration over at the network.

If Longmire does come back to A&E for a fourth season, it will likely do so around June 2015.
