The cast of Discovery's Amish Mafia has a lot to do if they want to convince locals they should still film their show there, but joining the current most popular charity movement may not be helping the show's image.

Lebanon Levi, the star of the show and the head of the "Mafia" was featured in a video with co-star and show lawyer Steven Breit, where the two did the challenge-but did not donate any money to the charity, which may not be helpful to the image they are trying to portray as concerned citizens in the community who are trying to do something good.

The effort comes just after the Respect Amish movement (which has been working for months to have the show removed from television since June) began gaining even more momentum in Lancaster County-garnering the support of citizens, business owners, religious leaders and even the Governor of Pennsylvania-all of whom have spoken out against the show for its depicting the Amish as violent and vengeful people.

And though the Amish themselves have not general spoken out on the either the show or the movement, one man reportedly did speak to Philly.com, on the condition of only using his first name. And while he did talk about the situation and say he was appreciative of the movement to help protect his group from it is rapidly being condemned as a discriminatory program, he mentioned more that he had never seen the controversial show-and never intended to.

"I know it's not legit. I was kinda on the sidelines cheering it would go away faster than it came," the man identified only as Jake said.

Despite the movement, Amish Mafia is still expected to air its fourth season on Discovery starting this winter.
