On August 23, Vin Diesel, who plays Dominic Toretto in Fast and Furious 7, posted a still from the movie featuring Paul Walker, Tyrese Gibson and Ludacris at a funeral ceremony.

Diesel posted the image on his Facebook account. All the actors are dressed in the custom black suits looking sombre at the occasion.

The scene from which the still is culled had been leaked online late last year. In the clip Walker, who plays Brian O'Connor, says that this will be the last funeral save one, that of their friend's killer.

Walker died on Nov. 30 in a car crash in Santa Clarita, Calif. He was the passenger in a car being driven by his friend, race car driver Roger Rodas, who also died in the accident. The speeding car hit a tree and instantly burst into flames, causing both the actor and Rodas to die on the spot.

Fast and Furious 7 will take off from where Fast and Furious 6 left off. Wan took over the director's role from Justin Lin, who announced earlier in the year that he will step away from directing the franchise.

The cast for the seventh installment reprising their roles include Diesel, Luke Evans, Gibson, Ludacris, Jordana Brewster and Michelle Rodriguez. UFC Womens Bantam weight champion Ronda Rousey and ONG Bak star Tony Jaa will also star in the film.

The 40-year-old actor was halfway through filming Fast and Furious 7.
