While not much is known about the plot of the next James Bond movie, it seems like director Sam Mendes is looking to bring back a host of classic characters to give the film a more throwback feel.

Classic Henchman Being Sought For 'Bond 24'

On the list of possible characters showing up recently is a classic henchman in the vein of Jaws or Oddjob. The franchise is looking to add a helper, who can give Bond as much fight back as the main villain, and bring an iconic, classic vibe to the film that hasn't been felt since the Roger Moore films.

As for the girls, it seems like Mendes is looking to cast a more traditional girl instead of the more plot driven one he had in Skyfall. Grand Budapest Hotel's Lea Seydoux and English fashion model Cara Delevingne are the two names most closely associated with playing the role.

'James Bond 24' Headed To Austria For Winter Fighting

As for shooting locations, the film is headed to Austria and Rome for filming in what seems to be a more traditional global Bond film after Skyfall spent most of the time having Bond fight in England.

It also looks like the film will have a more connected plot than Skyfall and will directly tie into the following film, much like the previous two Daniel Craig movies.

Bond 24 is directed by Mendes from a script by Neal Purvis, Robert Wade, and John Logan. The cast includes the return of Craig, Naiome Harris, Ralph Fiennes, Ben Whishaw, and Rory Kinnear.

Fiennes will be playing the more traditional M role while Harris is reviving the character of Moneypenny.
