About two months ago, Jennifer Lopez released a video on her VEVO Youtube account teasing her new album A.K.A.. The new song that was showcased was called Booty and features Pitbull. Her album was released later that month, and did in fact have the song Booty with Pitbull. The video of J-Lo and company dancing was hinted to be a inside look of the music video for the song.

Now there is a remix version with Iggy Azalea, which will be taking over as a single instead of the original track with Pitbull, according to Directlyrics. The Pitbull version was supposed to be a single, with artwork being released confirming that fact. Now, reports are circling that a new artwork is being taken along with an entire new music video being shot to feature the Iggy Azalea version instead of Pitbull.

Is this a smart move? Azalea recently performed at the VMAs and has been a very hot artist this year, with multiple tracks performing well on the Billboard charts. Lopez has to compete with other bootylicious singer Nicki Minaj, who just released her butt-centered video for Anaconda. It may make sense having two girls with well rounded bottoms shaking and twerking in a music video, since Taylor Swift and Minaj have been flaunting their stuff as of late. Azalea is no newcomer to showing her booty on stage either.
