On Monday, Parachute tweeted, "Rad to have our boy @Harry_Styles stopping by rehearsal in Nashville. Stoked to jam w him!" Styles then replied, "@parachute this is a lie isn't it..."

No word on if the whole thing was a misunderstanding or a joke, but Parachute then answered with a pic of their band and "I apologize. Genuinely thought this guy was @Harry_Styles when we started jamming. In hindsight, it's clearly not him".

One Direction has been busy on their Where We Are tour. The band's next stop is Wednesday in St Louis, followed up by Friday in Chicago.

Recently, Niall Horan shot down any rumors that One Direction was going to be splitting up soon. Horan told The Irish Sun Monday that, "We're going to go as long as we can go, as long as people want us we will be here. None of that rumors business."

"I don't want to think about that at the minute. I'm still here, still with the band," Horan said about potential solo rumors. "I don't need to think about it at all - I'm having a great time here, touring and having the craic with the lads - we are all still having a great time."
