The third season of Nashville is apparently going to bring some enticing new drama along with a new way of presenting music.

Someone Joins 'Nashville' With A 'Complicated & Dark Past'

On Tuesday, Celebuzz posted a brief interview with series creator Callie Khouri who mentioned something that'll take place in the opening episode and how excited she is for what's to come next.

"I can tell you that our first episode is going to be live music segments," Khouri said. "So we'll be going live twice, once West coast and once East coast. It's going to be really fun, we've got a great season planned."

Hayden Panettiere's Pregnancy Chatter

As for the news of Hayden Panettiere's pregnancy, Khouri confirmed that that will be written into the show although there's still no word on who the father will be.

"It's in," the creator said. "It was already in, it was conveniently a part of our story."

The father of the child could be Avery or it could be Jeff. But there's a good chance that Juliette (Panettiere) will be in a difficult choice either way because it'll probably take a while before Avery can forgive her for sleeping with Jeff. But at the same time, it might be too hard for him to see her have a baby with someone else.

There is also the theory that Juliette might not even keep her child; she might give it up for adoption or give custody to whoever the father may be.

Nashville Season 3 is expected to premiere on Wednesday, September 24 on ABC.
