Awkward returns this fall for the remainder of its fourth season on MTV, and as the students continue their senior year at Palos Hill High School, things are bound to get more complicated than ever.

'Awkward' Headed For Spring Break In New Episodes

"A lot of stuff [is happening]" teased Jillian Rose Reed (Tamara) in a recent interview with PopStop TV (featured below).

While a lot of fans will be looking to find out what happens between Jenna (Ashley Rickards) and Matty (Beau Mirchoff), Reed dished on Tamara's relationship with on-again-off-again boyfriend Jake (Bred Davern).

"For Tamara and Jake your gonna get to see this newfound friendship that they've decided to embark on," she admitted, "And see if it works really."

Tamara and Jake have had quite a go of things, and the preview for the second half of this season even shows the pair sharing a kiss. Between their relationship, Jenna's confusion over Matty, and Eva's (Elisabeth Whitson) potential pregnancy, the situation will inevitably become more complex.

Reed also revealed her most "awkward" moment in real life, which happened right before she had to appear on the MTV series set. She had been spending forty five minutes trying to put on fake eye lashes. When they kept falling off, she realized she'd been using blemish cream, not glue, to apply them. The actress said she got a "chemical burn" from applying to much and her eye "blew up" as a result.

Awkward returns to MTV to finish out the fourth season on Sept. 23 at 10/9c.
